What can I say, this show is legendary. A well-oiled machine run by loving, passionate, and hard working people. We filmed the episode, “Meant to Be,” for two weeks in the beginning of December when Chicago was getting a lot of snow already. Filming in the snow was new to me - equal parts exciting and challenging. Working with Luce, a producer of the show and a cop of two decades, on gun safety was thrilling (if you know him you know why) and insightful. Constantly navigating where your partner is and where your gun is facing, in combination with where the perpetrator is - so many things running through your mind that needs to be muscle memory to your character.

Lots of laughs on this set, lots of cold hands, lots of love.
